Billy Dobson Four Winners At Saratoga

Billy Dobson is back atop the harness racing driver standings after a big Thursday night (April 12) at Saratoga Casino and Raceway. The 27 year old is coming off of back to back driving championships at the Spa and though he fell behind Jim Morrill Jr in the early stages here in 2012, Dobson has surged back into the lead.

Dobson put in his best night of the young season on Thursday while piloting four winners on the night. The victories came in a bunch for Dobson who prevailed in four consecutive races. Dobson won with pacing mare Studio Queen (Four Starzzz Shark) before sweeping the pick three with pacers Keltic Sport, Something New and Funnel Cake Queen. With the four Thursday scores, Dobson now has 27 wins on the season and is driving at a higher average than he did in his championship seasons of ’10 and ’11.
