Harnessracingtoday.com makes owning a Standardbred racehorse a real possibility for anyone wanting to get into the harness racing industry whether you have limited cash on hand or just don’t want to risk a fortune.
We race exclusivly in the New York Metro area with Monticello Raceway as our homebase racetrack.
We use multiple trainers with the best drivers on the grounds who happen to be very talented guys including Billy Parker jr who is ranked number 8 in the country for all time wins at 10,000 and counting Bruce Aldrich jr, Jim Taggart jr, the Merton brothers Greg and Mike just to name a few.

All these drivers compete with the best drivers in the world at many different racetracks and are just a few of the most talented and well known drivers that happen to call Monticello Raceway their home.

Our goal is to have all partners recoup their initial investment as quickly as possible a typical return of investment usually takes from one to five months depending on the horse.

To become a partner you need to decide how much you want to invest. Our partnerships start with a $5,000 investment for a 50% share of a $7,500 claimer or a $6,250 investment for a 50%  share of a $10,000 claimer that initial investment guarantees there is no training or veterinarian fees associated with your partnership for the first two months. Once you decide on your investment amount we supply you with all applications and forms you need to register as a New York State racehorse owner.

We walk you through filing all paperwork “NYS” Racing & Wagering Board License, your State and Federal fingerprint cards, USTA (United States Trotting Association) membership application.
Total cost for all paperwork is $275.00 all are required to own a racehorse in New York State.

Once paperwork is complete it’s time to enjoy your new venture so we set up a free online racing account for you so you can watch your horse race in the comfort of your own home without ever having to worry about missing a race.
